"All my bowls are individually shaped on a wood
lathe from solid blocks of beautiful native California Hardwoods. Each bowl is different
in size, shape, grain pattern and color. No two bowls will ever be the same.." Lloyd General
I have already treated these bowls with Olive Oil. If you use an olive oil based salad
dressing simply wipe the bowl out clean after use, otherwise, my bowls may be washed with
a dampened dish cloth. When the bowl is dry simply apply a light coat of olive oil. These
bowls are beautiful but they are functional as well and are designed for daily use.
The prices of my bowls vary with the type of wood, size, color, grain pattern and the
shape of the bowl. Please call 530-549-5359 or email
for current pricing and stock availability. To see more samples of my work and to get an

I have acquired an insidious disease that has pinched
the nerves in my left leg leaving me unable to walk,
and confined to a wheelchair now.
So for the present I have had to give up my love of
"turning wood" and shut down my shop.
However I am still a skilled wood turner
with lots of experience to share,
so please feel free to contact me at; lgeneral@frontiernet.net
